Based on the experiences and technologies accumulated over the last three decades in the inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) of oil and gas field facilities in China, COOEC has developed a complete system of technologies and capabilities for operation and IMR throughout the whole lifecycle of offshore oil and gas fields. This system includes technologies for the upgrading and renovation of offshore production facilities, IMR and replacement of subsea facilities, emergency maintenance and repair of submarine pipelines under pressure, including the hole-drilling, repair and connection/tie-in of submarine pipelines, leak plugging or cutting, repair and replacement of submarine pipelines, recovery and maintenance of submarine pipelines and cables, maintenance and replacement of mooring systems, seabed treatment, trenching, concrete/cement block placement, post-protection of subsea facilities and intelligent modification of offshore platforms. Relying on the national base for emergency maintenance and repair of deepwater pipelines, COOEC has built a warehouse provided with professional equipment and spare parts necessary for emergency maintenance and repair of deepwater pipelines, which can meet the requirements of emergency maintenance and repair of deepwater oil and gas field facilities.
